Allied Telesis Revolutionizes Reseller Training with Adventure-Based Learning

Chiasso, Switzerland, September 07, 2010 – Allied Telesis has launched Adventure-Based Learning, a revolutionary way for its resellers and partners to gain experience and training across Europe. Delivered through the new PartnerPortal launched in February of this year, Adventure Based Learning makes training easier, more effective and more enjoyable for Allied Telesis partners and resellers.

Allied Telesis Adventure-Based Learning is a completely new concept in training for resellers. It is a self-learning, interactive program that builds understanding of both the sales process and the solutions that Allied Telesis offers the market. The interactive lessons are far more advanced than today’s e-Learning systems and give the user a completely new learning experience that is not only enjoyable but also far more effective than conventional training methods.

Unlike traditional training methods, Adventure Based Learning is available 24 hours a day, requires no forward planning or pre-booking and offers high levels of interaction alongside virtual scenarios with realistic customer interaction. By recreating customer environments in a virtual world, resellers can build confidence and technique as well as testing out new pitches and ideas.

Adventure-Based Learning guides users through a systematic process complete with your own virtual coach. The coach helps users learn the sales process and the solutions, and also has access to a library of information. The reseller is then guided to interact with the customers via phone or via a visit, learning all the different skills needed to talk with technical staff, through to the CEO. During the process users earn points, resulting in a certificate to show that they have achieved the recommended level of knowledge on that subject matter.
