Vista Manager mini

Vista Manager mini is useful for smaller networks that may not need the capabilities of Vista Manager EX. It is a simplified version of Vista Manager EX and is integrated into the web-based Device GUI on selected AlliedWare Plus switches, firewalls, and VPN routers.

Vista Manager mini includes a network map that displays details of wired Allied Telesis Autonomous Management Framework (AMF) devices, wireless APs, and third-party devices. AMF Security mini adds intra-LAN security, to block malware and other internal security threats.

Wireless Management (AWC) with Vista Manager mini

Vista Manager mini is embedded in the web-based Device GUI of certain switches and firewalls. It uses AWC for setting up and managing your wireless access points (APs). By minimizing coverage gaps and reducing AP interference, AWC automatically reconfigures access points to meet user demand. It also enables plug-and-play extensions of your wireless network, and lets you configure Channel Blanket for seamless roaming on our hybrid APs.

Device discovery using SNMP for third-party devices

Vista Manager mini uses SNMP to discover third-party devices in your LAN. It displays these devices on the network map and uses SNMP traps to receive status alerts for them.

AMF Security mini offers powerful intra-LAN security. Its intelligent SDN controller works with firewalls and other security devices to instantly respond to alerts, and block the movement of malware threats within a wired or wireless network.
