About the Plug-in
The Allied Telesis plug-in for the Wisenet WAVE Video Management System (VMS) is an add-on to the Wisenet WAVE VMS in networks where the surveillance cameras are connected to Allied Telesis Power over Ethernet (PoE) switches. This Plug-in allows you to perform tasks such as rebooting the surveillance cameras and managing port power allocations using the Wisenet WAVE client without network administrator credentials.
The plug-in enables easier security operation by providing convenient access to management functions for Allied Telesis Power over Ethernet (PoE) switches, such as:
- Cycle PoE power to reboot a malfunctioning camera
- Check and manage PoE power allocation
- Assign and track camera/port associations
- Enable and disable switch ports
- Restrict port access to a single device with an easy point and click to enable Port Security (coming soon)

Compatibility
The plug-in integrates with the Wisenet WAVE VMS server software versions 6.0.3, 6.0.2, 6.0.1, and 5.1.4. It is compatible with all AlliedWare Plus™ managed and industrial PoE-capable switches running software version 5.5.4 or later.
