Easy Wi-Fi 6 or Wi-Fi 6E connectivity

Get a comprehensive set of wireless features, multi-radio design, and high performance for a superior user experience

Wi-Fi 6 (8x8)

The TQ6702 GEN2-R has one 4x4 2.4GHz radio and one 8x8 5GHz radio, delivering a raw capacity of 4.8 Gigabits. Wi-Fi 6 efficiently manages bandwidth for a superior user experience.

Wi-Fi 6E (3 radio)

The TQ7403-R has a 3-radio design supporting 2.4GHz, 5GHz, and 6GHz bands. Wi-Fi 6E easily supports crowded environments, with the addition of the 6GHz band enabling optimized performance.

Captive Portal

Captive Portal lets you manage customer and staff Wi-Fi access, by taking new users to a login page to authenticate before gaining access to any online resources and applications.

Simple QR code connectivity

Generate a QR code on the AP that can be scanned by user wireless devices to enable quick and easy connection to the Wi-Fi network, eliminating the need to enter SSIDs and passwords.

Zero Wait DFS

Zero Wait DFS reduces Wi-Fi interference by allowing devices to immediately access available channels without waiting, enhancing network efficiency.

AMF Security

Allied Telesis AMF Security responds immediately to threats posed by internal users and connected devices. It autonomously blocks malware anywhere on the network edge and quarantines suspected devices.

Virtual APs for multiple SSIDs

VAPs allow you to assign different SSIDs and security policies for different applications or users, such as separate customer and staff access.

WPA3

WPA3 is the latest version of WPA (Wireless Protected Access). It has increased cryptographic strength and more secure key exchange to ensure secure wireless connectivity.

Secure WAN connectivity

The TQ-R Series provide a secure gateway, with a firewall to protect your Internet connectivity and highly-secure VPNs for connections back to a central office. Application and Web control simplify management of application use and online access for staff and visitors.

Virtual Private Networks (VPNs)

IPSec site-to-site VPNs connect the local branch to head-office and other locations for consistent access to company resources. SSL/TLS remote worker VPNs allow easy access to digital resources, using the OpenVPN client.

Application Control

The DPI (Deep Packet Inspection) firewall enables application aware control and prioritization of traffic, using the free built-in application list, or a subscription-based list which is regularly updated.

Web Control

Web control lets businesses manage the types of website their staff or visitors can access. The subscription-based web categorization list is regularly updated.

Optimized WAN connectivity

SD-WAN enables automatic optimization of inter-office traffic to maximize the performance of real-time and critical applications.

AMF Plus member

Allied Telesis Autonomous Management Framework Plus is a powerful suite of management tools that automates your everyday network administration tasks.

PPPoE client

A PPPoE link provides a point-to-point connection over Ethernet. It is often used to connect to an ISP.

IPv4 over IPv6

IPv4 over IPv6 involves sending IPv4 packets across an IPv6 network. This facilitates the coexistence of both protocols and addresses IPv4 address depletion.

Local RADIUS Server

The built-in Local RADIUS Server lets you use the TQ-R Series as a RADIUS server for user and device authentication, rather than having another, separate RADIUS server.

Wireless AP Router applications

Easy Internet and Wi-Fi for a single site

The TQ-R Series makes it much easier to create a network for small businesses. Instead of having to set up and configure a router, a switch and a wireless AP, you only need a single device to provide seamless wireless access and secure connectivity to the Internet.

Simple yet comprehensive visual management and monitoring using the Device GUI ensures reduced time, effort, and cost to install and run the network.

Centralized management and control for distributed sites

Businesses with multiple locations can enjoy centralised and automated management of the TQ-R Series units installed at each branch. Roll-out of new locations is as easy as connecting the new single-unit branch network back to the head-office.

IPSec site-to-site VPNs ensure secure access between business locations, while SSL/TLS remote worker VPNs provide easy access to digital resources when away from the office, using the OpenVPN client.

DPI rule sharing enables the TQ-R Series to become application-aware by learning application categorization from the central firewall. This allows the TQ-R Series to use application names to control and prioritize traffic, greatly simplifying firewall administration.
