White House Recognizes Allied Telesis Leadership in Silicon Valley Public/Private Partnership for “Smart Cities” Initiative
Washington, DC and SAN JOSE, Calif. – September 16, 2015 — Allied Telesis, a recognized innovator of secure networking technologies for an Internet of Things (IoT)-driven world, was recognized on Monday by the White House for its part in a significant public/private partnership in Silicon Valley. Allied Telesis, together with the San Francisco 49ers, Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA), City of Santa Clara, Santa Clara Police Department and Arini Geographics, have teamed up to create a smarter, safer Levi’s® Stadium and a smarter, safer public transit system in advance of Super Bowl 50. State-of-the-art technology has been deployed at strategic locations throughout Santa Clara County as part of the revolutionary venture. This public/private partnership will serve as a blueprint for other cities to create smarter and safer cities.
The platform, which integrates exclusive safety and security technology, was launched to meet security challenges that solve emerging threats to public safety within transit systems and public venues. Allied Telesis developed the game-changing technology that allows law enforcement and transit authorities to have better situational awareness and interoperability to keep the public safe. With the IoT connecting people and devices, Allied Telesis has engineered a way to analyze, visualize and communicate data in real time for all stakeholders involved.

Allied Telesis highlighted its new technology platform at the Smart Cities Week® Conference and Exhibition at the Renaissance Washington, D.C. Downtown Hotel, September 15 – 16. As a Platinum sponsor of the inaugural event, the Company also featured Mark Brûlé, Chief Application Architect, presenting in the Exhibition Hub Theater Session Track—Mobile Video, Sensor Integration and Visualization:
