Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism

Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) is a voluntary program between U.S. Customs & Border Protection (CBP) and the Trade Community. It was founded after the 9/11 attacks on the U.S. to agree on how cargo shipments would be prioritized should there ever be another situation that would cause the closure of U.S. ports of entry.

Supply chain security programs, such as C-TPAT, allow Customs organizations & law enforcement to concentrate on higher-risk companies and shipments. Its primary goals are to facilitate legitimate, program-compliant trade, and strengthen supply chain security. By reducing threats to the international supply chain, the program helps the U.S ensure an uninterrupted flow of goods to its worldwide customers.

There are three levels of certification enabling increasingly faster and smoother handling of shipments. Assessments are a combination of self-certification and reviews by independent government-appointed auditors. Allied Telesis has consistently demonstrated to CBP that its supply chain security policies, procedures & controls exceed the required security criteria. As a result, we have been awarded the highest certification (Tier 3*) and enjoy reduced customs inspection times and faster shipment handling. For our customers, this means expedited shipping and confidence that our supply chain has been certified secure.

C–TPAT Status Verification Interface (SVI)

Allied Telesis is a certified and validated C-TPAT member, and has received a Status Verification Interface (SVI) number of allImp128104 by CBP. (Note that the verification number is case sensitive.)

To verify the membership status of Allied Telesis, an organization must be a certified member of the C-TPAT program and be able to access the C-TPAT Security Link Portal (https://ctpat.cbp.dhs.gov).

* Less than 4% of the 11,000+ members of the C-TPAT program are Tier 3 certified.
