It's all about options. This NIC provides both a 10FL fiber port and a 100FX fiber port to allow flexibility for installation in both new and legacy LAN environments. Don't pay twice and have to reinstall another NIC at a later date. This one allows the network manager to choose which port to use during installation and change it at a later date. Available with SC or ST connector types.
