User Guide: AMF Security version 2.5.0 for VST-VRT

If you forget your password


If you have an SMTP server registered with AMF Security and you forget your login password, you can reset it using the Email Address associated with your account.

Note
If you forget your Account Name or Email Address, have not registered an SMTP server, or have not associated your Email Address with your account, you are not able to recover your password by email. It is necessary to initialize (delete → recreate) the AMF Security application on the AT-VST-APL setting page.

  1. Click "Forgot Password?" at the bottom right of the AMF Security login screen.

  2. Enter the Email Address associated with your account in "Email Address:" and click the "Send Email" button.

  3. If a valid SMTP setting is registered, the message "Email sent to (Email Address) successfully." is displayed. Click "Back" at the bottom right.


  4. An email with the subject "AMF Security Password Reset Page" is sent to the Email Address you entered. Click the link in the body of the email.

      You can access AMF Security Password Reset page from the following link. Please reset your password on this page.
      
      https://(AMF Security's IP Address)/page/system/password_reset/xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
      
      This page is valid for 10 minutes. Please change your password in 10 minutes.
      If you don't remember this mail, please ignore this email and your password will remain unchanged.
      

  5. The Reset Password page is displayed. Enter the Account Name associated with your Email Address, New Password, and Confirm Password, and click the "Submit" button.


  6. The message "Password has been changed successfully." is displayed. After that, the AMF Security login screen is displayed.


  7. An email with the subject "AMF Security Password Has Been Changed" is sent to the Email Address you entered. Click the link in the body of the email.

      You have changed your AMF Security password.
      Please click on the following link to login AMF Security again.

  8. The AMF Security login screen is displayed. Enter your Account Name and changed Password to log in.
