Upgrade AMF Security
Describes how to upgrade AMF Security.
Upgrades to AMF Security 2.2.0 are only supported from AT-SESC 1.8.x or from AMF Security 2.x.x prior to AMF Security 2.2.0.
If you are using AT-SESC 1.7.x or earlier and want to upgrade to AMF Security 2.xx, please upgrade to AT-SESC 1.8.x first, and then upgrade to AMF Security 2.xx.

Version upgrade from AT-SESC 1.7.x or earlier to AT-SESC 1.8.x
To upgrade to AT-SESC 1.8.x when AT-SESC is redundantly configured and the authentication database is synchronized, follow the procedure below.If the authentication database is not synchronized, click the "Update" button in the "Software Upgrade" item on the System Settings > System Information page of AT-SESC to upgrade the version.
NoteIt takes about 10 to 20 minutes for the firmware version upgrade to be completed and the reboot to be performed.
- Open the System Settings / Maintenance page on the AT-SESC management web interface that is running as the primary.
- Download authentication data (CSV format) by clicking "Download" in the "Download authentication data for backup.".
- Open the System Settings > Network Settings page.
- Uncheck the "Enable authentication database synchronization" checkbox and click the "Submit" button.
- Open the System Settings / Maintenance page on the AT-SESC management web interface that is running as the secondary.
- Open the System Settings > Network Settings page.
- Uncheck the "Enable authentication database synchronization" checkbox and click the "Submit" button.
- Click the "Update" button in the "Software Upgrade" item on the System Settings > System Information page of each AT-SESC to upgrade the version.
Version upgrade from AT-SESC 1.8.x to AMF Security 2.x.x
To upgrade to AMF Security 2.x.x when AT-SESC is redundantly configured and the authentication database is synchronized, follow the procedure in "Version upgrade from AT-SESC 1.7.x or earlier to AT-SESC 1.8.x".Refer to Synchronizing AMF Security > Configuring Synchronization in Quick Tour for setting of synchronization of the authentication database after the version upgrade.
If the authentication database is not synchronized, click the "Update" button in the "Software Upgrade" item on the System Settings > System Information page of AT-SESC to upgrade the version.

Upgrade from AMF Security 2.x.x to AMF Security 2.2.0
This is the procedure for upgrading from AMF Security 2.x.x prior to AMF Security 2.2.0.To upgrade to AMF Security 2.2.0 when AMF Security is redundantly configured and the authentication database is synchronized, after disabling Configuring Synchronization, click the "Update" button in the "Software Upgrade" item on the System Settings > System Information page.
Refer to Synchronizing AMF Security > Disable Sync Settings in Quick Tour for disabling Configuring Synchronization.
