Configure Event Handlers
Event Filter allows you to configure the SNMP Plug-in to take automatic actions on specific events such as shutdown/reboot of a device, linkup/linkdown of a port and a received trap from a device.
Create Action Commands
An Action Command defines just an action. When to invoke it is defined separately in an Event Filter.You can create an action command for notification by email.
Refer to Screen Reference > System > Action Command for its configuration.
Configure Event Filters
An Event Filter defines what action should be taken when a specific event occurs.Refer to Screen Reference > System > Event Filter for its configuration.
