Change Password

This section explains how to change user passwords.

Note

SNMP Plug-in shares the account database with Vista Manager EX and other plugins. Only the Admin account can perform this operation.

1. Log in to Vista Manager EX using an Admin account.
   
2. Select "User Management" from the main menu.
   
3. Select an account to change in the user list.
   You can see information about the selected user.
   
4. Click the "Edit" button.
   The "Edit User" dialog box will appear.
   
5. Click "Change Password".
   You can see the "Password" and "Confirm Password" fields.
   
6. Enter a password in "Password".
   The password must be 8 or more characters, all of which are half-width alphabets, numbers, and symbols (only !@ # $ % ^ & * ( ) can be used) (case sensitive). Also, it must contain at least one letter, number, or symbol.
   
7. Enter the same password in "Confirm Password" for confirmation.
   
8. Click "Save".
