DHCP for IPv6 (DHCPv6) Feature Overview and Configuration Guide

This guide describes the Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol for IPv6 (DHCPv6). DHCPv6 is used to delegate IPv6 prefixes and to allocate IPv6 addresses.

Various AlliedWare Plus™ devices can act as a DHCPv6 server, client and/or relay agent, so this guide includes configuration examples for all three possible roles. It also covers Prefix Delegation (PD).
