Allied Telesis and Onnec Showcase Smart Building Solutions
London, UK – 12 September, 2023 – Partners, Allied Telesis and Onnec, will be exhibiting at the Smart Buildings Show, 18-19 October, ExCel London, showcasing how converged IP network architecture, intelligent monitoring, network automation and data-driven insights from OT, IT and IoT sources reduce network cost, complexity and minimise environmental impact.
Visitors to Onnec’s stand D30, will be able to learn about Allied Telesis’ portfolio of products, technologies and managed services for smart buildings. In addition, attendees can discover its customized, state-of-the-art IoT solutions at the edge, empowering innovation. These services are effective at improving process agility and helping build a competitive advantage for smart building customers globally.

Allied Telesis will be showcasing their end-to-end range of solutions optimised for smart buildings including the x950 series core switches, the extremely popular X530 edge series, TQ6700 access-points designed with hybrid networking and high availability in mind. They will also have their award-winning industrial switch range, UTM firewalls and management software suite to demonstrate.
There will be joint Allied Telesis-Onnec Demonstrations on Rapid onboarding, which will show how working with Onnec and Allied Telesis means smart buildings’ facilities managers can deploy buildings quickly and easily without risks associated with IT/OT devices and networks.
Also on stand D30, Onnec will be showcasing its ONNEC iQ platform, which demonstrates a smart building’s current and historic status in terms of power, cost, CO2 output, security, levels of efficiency and any potential maintenance requirements. It not only provides all this data but is also able to optimise all of these systems, demonstrating real world savings immediately to the client.
In the Management Theatre at 12:15pm on Wednesday 18th October, John Dente, CTO at Onnec, will be presenting on Data Quantity or Data Quality ? How to achieve faster energy savings “We frequently see clients that want all data without a strategy behind that decision, so today we will show why the quality and quantity of data matter in making decisions that drive energy savings,” says John Dente. The session is encouraged to be interactive.
For those that prefer a more casual conversation there will be drinks served on stand D30 from 3pm on Wednesday.
