User Guide: AMF Security Controller version 2.2.2

Upgrade AMF Security

Describes how to upgrade AMF Security.

Upgrades to this version are only supported from AT-SESC 1.8.x or from AMF Security 2.x.x prior to this version.

If you are using AT-SESC 1.7.x or earlier and want to upgrade to this version, upgrade to AT-SESC 1.8.x first.

In either case, it is necessary to execute the "DataBase log cleanup tool" before upgrading the version. For the DataBase log cleanup tool, refer to Quick Tour/ Upgrade AMF Security > Preparation of DataBase log cleanup tool.

Refer to other documents for the licenses available in this version.

Preparation of DataBase log cleanup tool

Before upgrading, you need to run "DataBase log cleanup tool" to delete the database logs. Download "DataBase log cleanup tool" from our website.
For more information on "DataBase log cleanup tool", refer to the Readme file created after decompressing the downloaded compressed file.
Note
The Readme file of the database log deletion tool describes the procedure according to the AT-SESC / AMF Security status before work (whether or not synchronization of the authentication database is used, and the synchronization status when using synchronization). The reference destinations described are described in each procedure below.
