Requirements for Clients

Configuration of the AWC Plug-in can be carried out by accessing the Vista Manager EX's Graphical User Interface (GUI) from a web browser.
The following web browsers are supported.

Microsoft Edge
Google Chrome

Note
Only the latest version will be supported.

Note
Make sure that the clock on the computer for browsing is set to the same date and time as the Vista Manager EX server settings. If you set a different time, the duration of wireless clients may not be displayed correctly.

When the AWC Plug-in is running on VST-APL, you can start and stop the AWC Plug-in server from the VST-APL Management screen.
Refer to the "VST-APL Reference Manual" for further information.

Start and Stop Server

This section covers the steps to start or stop the AWC Plug-in server.

Start Server

Log in to the VST-APL configuration screen.
Click "Wireless Controller" on the left-hand menu.
Click the "Start" button on the right end of the row in the "Deployed Application" list.
The state becomes "Running", and the "Start" button changes into the "Stop" button.

Stop Server

Log in to the VST-APL configuration screen.
Click "Wireless Controller" on the left-hand menu.
The "Wireless Controller" management screen will appear. Click the "Stop" button on the right end of each row in the "Deployed Application" List.
The "State" indicator changes to "Stopping". Wait until "State" changes to "Stopped".

Login and Logout

To use the AWC Plug-in with Vista Manager EX, you have to register it on Vista Manager EX's "Plug-in Management" screen. Please refer to the Vista Manager EX Installation Guide for more details.
Please refer to the "Logging into Vista Manager EX" section of the Vista Manager EX User Guide for information on how to login to Vista Manager EX.
Once the AWC Plug-in is registered, the AWC Plug-in menu appears on the Vista Manager EX Main Menu.
