Table 2: System Setting
Item Name Description
Database Setting
"Save" button Save and apply configuration changes to the database.
Maximum Memory Usage Specify the maximum amount of system memory that can be used for the AWC Plug-in database.
Note
Changing the maximum memory amount is not supported in the AWC Plug-in for VST-APL. Use the default setting.

"Save" button Save and apply configuration changes to the network map.
Wireless Device Topology Data Update-Interval Specify the refresh interval for APs and wireless clients that are displayed on the Vista Manager EX "Network Map" screen.

  • Don't Update:
The AWC Plug-in does not refresh wireless device information automatically.

  • Set Update Interval:
The AWC Plug-in refreshes wireless device information automatically. The range for refresh interval can be from 1 to 9999 minutes. The update interval for links between AWC-SC APs on the Network Map also depends on this setting. It is set to 1 minute by default.
Remote Monitor Setting
"Save" button Save and apply configuration changes to the Remote Monitor in the operation.
Polling Interval Set the polling interval of the wireless LAN controller specified on the remote monitor screen, with a value from 5 to 30 (minutes). The default is 5 (minutes).
Log Retention Period Set the number of days to keep the logs retrieved from the wireless LAN controller specified on the Remote Monitor screen, using a value from 1 to 366. The default is 366 (days).

The default is 500000.
Retention Period Can specify how long the AWC Plug-in logs are stored in the database.
  • Don't Set
No log storage period is set. If the number of logs is within the "Maximum Number of Logs" parameter, they will remain stored in the database regardless of the number of days elapsed since they were recorded.

  • Set Retention Period:
Specify the log storage period with a value in the range 1-31 (unit: days). Logs whose number of days elapsed since recording exceeds the specification in this item are deleted. Note that logs that exceed the maximum number of logs, even within the retention period, will be deleted from the oldest logs.
The default is "Don't Set". In addition, if "Set Retention Period" is selected, the default retention period is 7 (days).

Permission Setting (AMF Security WebAPI)

When the AMF Security server (AMF-Sec or AMF Security mini) receives a threat event, it queries the AWC plug-in for the MAC address from the IP address of the threat device via Web API.
Register the IP address of the AMF Security server that you want to allow access to in order to respond only to inquiries from legitimate AMF Security servers.
AMF Security Server IP addresses can be registered up to 1,024 entries.
