Log Can specify how long the AWC Plug-in logs are stored in the database.
  • Don't Set
No log storage period is set. If the number of logs is within the "Maximum Number of Logs" parameter, they will remain stored in the database regardless of the number of days elapsed since they were recorded.

  • Set:
Specify the log storage period with a value in the range 1-31 (unit: days). Logs whose number of days elapsed since recording exceeds the specification in this item are deleted. Note that logs that exceed the maximum number of logs, even within the retention period, will be deleted from the oldest logs.
The default is "Don't Set". In addition, if "Set" is selected, the default retention period is 7 (days).
Maximum Number of Logs Specifies the maximum number of Logs related to AWC Plug-in, from 10,000 to 5,000,000.
If the number of logs recorded in the AWC plug-in database exceeds the value set in this item, the oldest logs are deleted first to keep the number within the value.
The default is 5,000,000.
Datetime format in CSV files
"Save" button Applies the change to the Datetime format in CSV files.
Datetime Format Select the date/time format to be recorded in the CSV file.

Wireless Device Topology Data Update-Interval Specify the refresh interval for APs and wireless clients that are displayed on the Vista Manager EX "Network Map" screen.
  • Don't Set
The AWC Plug-in does not send wireless device information to the Vista Manager EX.
In this case, the wireless devices managed by the AWC Plug-in don't appear on the Device list or the network map in the Vista Manager EX. The information of these devices are not checked against the registered device information on the Vista Manager EX, so custom icons on the Vista Manager EX will not reflected in the AWC Plug-in, and are displayed as default icons instead.

  • Set:
The AWC Plug-in refreshes wireless device information automatically.
The wireless devices managed by the AWC Plug-in will be displayed in the Vista Manager EX. If a custom icon is applied in Vista Manager EX, it will also be reflected in the AWC Plug-in's floor map and other displays.
Also, set the update interval with a value from 1 to 9999 (unit: minutes). Information on wireless devices and link lines between APs in the AWC-SC are reflected in the network map according to this update interval. It is set to 1 minute by default.
When "Wireless Device Topology Data Update-Interval" is set to "Set", the following additional "Target Data" will be displayed.
Target Data Select the target data for the information displayed on the "Network Map" screen of the Vista Manager EX from "AP and Associated Client" or "Only AP". The default is "AP and Associated Client".
  • When "AP and Associated Client" is selected, information on the currently connected wireless client will be sent along with the AP's IP address, MAC address, management status, etc. If the relevant wireless client is registered in the Vista Manager EX, the custom icon of the registered wireless client on the Vista Manager EX will also be reflected in the AWC Plug-in's floor map.

  • When "Only AP" is selected, only the IP address, MAC address, and management status of the wireless AP will be notified, and no information about the connected wireless clients will be sent. In this case, the custom icons of wireless clients registered on the Vista Manager EX will not be reflected in the AWC plug-in floor map, even if the corresponding wireless clients are registered in the Vista Manager EX.
