User Guide: Vista Manager SNMP Plug-in version 2.9.1

What is the SNMP Plug-in

The SNMP Plug-in is a network management application based on the Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP).
With the SNMP Plug-in, you can manage your network efficiently because most intelligent network equipment supports SNMP.
The SNMP Plug-in provides an easy to use management web interface so that you can visually monitor the status of your network. Devices will be automatically discovered and presented in a tree view. The tree view allows you to view and edit device information as if you are using Windows Explorer.
Note
This version of SNMP Plug-in supports SNMP v1/v2c/v3.

Support Limits

The number of devices which can be monitored by the SNMP Plug-in is as follows.
Note
This is the maximum number which the SNMP Plug-in can support. Actual limits vary depending on the server's specification. There may be a case that the server will suffer a degrade in performance when monitoring a large number of devices.
Note
The more units managed, the longer each page may take to display.

Account Types

The SNMP Plug-in shares the account database with AVM EX and other plug-ins.a
