Network Overview

"Network Overview" summarizes the current overall status of the monitored devices.

Table 1: Network Overview
Item Name Description
Doughnut Chart
Shows percentages of the monitored devices in UP (green) and DOWN (red) states.
X nodes Shows the number of monitored devices.
X up Shows the number of monitored devices in UP state (Reachable from the SNMP Plug-in server).
X down Shows the number of monitored devices in DOWN state (Unreachable from the SNMP Plug-in server).
X traps Shows the number of monitored devices from which the SNMP Plug-in received SNMP traps.

Network Trend

"Network Trend" shows the trends of various data using a line chart (with 1 hour interval) such as the numbers of monitored devices in UP and DOWN states, the number of monitored devices sending traps and the amount of traffic sent/received by monitored devices.
Note
When the monitored device is registered, if it fails to communicate with the SNMP plug-in, the trend graphs will not be updated. When registering a monitored device, please make sure that it can communicate properly before deleting or adding the device.
Note
If the CPU or memory usage is high, the SNMP Plug-in may fail to update the Network Trend. In that case, please wait for the next update.

When you hovering a mouse cursor over the chart, exact numbers at the point will be popped up.

You can change the data to display on the chart by clicking a button at the top right corner. The following trends can be seen on the chart.

Device List By Importance

"Device List By Importance" summarizes information about the monitored device with "High" or "Medium" Importance.
"Traffic", "In" and "Out" show the latest measured traffic counts(bytes) for each device. They are measured at one hour interval.
Note
The importance of a device is based on the device level defined for each product model. Device levels can be configured with Server Configuration > Device Level Configuration Utility. Each device's importance is determined when it is added. Even if you change the device level configuration, the new level settings will not be applied to the existing devices. To apply the new level mappings, delete the devices and add them again.
