User Guide: Vista Manager SNMP Plug-in version 2.9.1

Backup and Restore of SNMP Plug-in System

This section explains how to backup and restore SNMP Plug-in system.
System Data includes SNMP Plug-in's Node management configuration and account configuration.
The following information will be backed up.
Note
There's no function to initialize SNMP Plug-in database. But you can achieve the same result by creating a backup of SNMP Plug-in system just after its installation and restoring it.
Note
The following settings are not backed up because they are environment-dependent. Please re-configure manually according to your environment:
  • Server PC's IP address
Note
It does not contain AVM EX's AMF device information, licenses and AWC Plug-in's AP management data.
Data managed by AVM EX and the AWC Plug-in system should be backed up by a separate utility for each system.
Therefore, it is recommended that you also take backups for AVM EX and AWC Plug-in when you backup SNMP Plug-in system data.
Note
It is recommended that you take a backup regularly.
