Requirements for Clients

Configuration of the SNMP Plug-in can be carried out by accessing the Vista Manager EX's Graphical User Interface (GUI) from a web browser.
The following web browsers are supported.
Note
The latest release only will be supported.

Program Menu

Once the SNMP Plug-in is installed with Vista Manager EX, you can see the following items in the "AT-Vista Manager EX" group in the Windows' program menu.

AT-SNMP - Start Server Starts SNMP Plug-in server. By default, the SNMP Plug-in server automatically starts when Windows boots up.

Note
On Windows Server 2019, some of the menu items may not be created correctly in the program menu's "AT-Vista Manager EX" group.
If this occurs, restart Windows Server 2019 and the missing items will be added to the "AT-Vista Manager EX" program group.
Before restarting Windows Server 2019, you can run the missing items by directly launching the above executable files, with Administrator privileges.

Start and Stop Server

This section explains how to start and stop SNMP Plug-in server.

Start Server

By default, the SNMP Plug-in is configured to automatically start its server process when Windows boots.
Note
When Windows starts, the SNMP Plug-in server process may not start automatically. If this is the case, please start the server manually.
To start the server manually, select "AT-Vista Manager EX" > "AT-SNMP - Start Server" from the program menu.
To disable automatic startup of the SNMP Plug-in server, do the following steps.
◼ Change the start type of the AT-AWC Service
  1. Open Administrative Tools > Services (Local).
  2. Right-click "ATKK Network Monitor Process Manager Service" in the service list.
  3. Select "Properties" on the popup menu.
  4. Select "General" tab on "ATKK Network Monitor Process Manager Service Properties" dialog box.
  5. Change "Startup type" to "Manual" and click "OK".

Stop Server

To stop Vista Manager EX server, select "AT-Vista Manager EX" > "AT-SNMP - Stop Server" from program menu.

Login and Logout

To use the SNMP Plug-in with Vista Manager EX, you have to register it on Vista Manager EX's "Plug-in Management" screen.
Please refer to the Vista Manager EX User Guide on how to login to Vista Manager EX.
Once the SNMP Plug-in is registered on Vista Manager EX, the SNMP Plug-in menu appears on the Vista Manager EX Main Menu.The
The SNMP Plug-in has an emergency mode called "Standalone Mode", which lets you use the plug-in without Vista Manager EX, in the unlikely event of Vista Manager EX failing.
To use Standalone Mode, you have to configure it beforehand. Refer to Operation Reference > Miscellaneous Settings > Standalone Mode for more details.
